At CLAY & MUG, we think the only surprise you should get is how much you love your new mug when you unwrap it, not a surprise on your credit card statement. Operating from our home in Donna, Texas, we keep our billing process as straightforward as the clay we work with.

Payment Methods We currently accept payments exclusively through PayPal. The service allows you to pay using your PayPal balance or via major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). By using PayPal, your sensitive financial data stays encrypted and never enters our apartment’s local network.

When You Are Charged Your payment is processed currently when you confirm your order at checkout. Once the payment is verified, the "Apt 34 team" (usually just us at the kitchen table) begins inspecting and packing your stoneware or porcelain treasures.

Transparent Pricing

• The Price You See Is the Price You Pay: There are no hidden "handling fees" or "packing surcharges."
• Sales Tax: As a Texas-based business, sales tax will be applied to orders shipped within the state of Texas, as required by law.
• Shipping Costs: These are clearly calculated and shown before you click "Pay."

Order Confirmation

Immediately after payment, you will receive an automated email from us. This is our digital handshake, confirming that we’ve received your order and are getting to work.

Billing Disputes

If you notice any discrepancy in your billing, please reach out to us at customer@clayandmug.com before opening a formal dispute with your bank. We are human, we are right here in Donna, and we promise to resolve any honest mistakes with honesty and speed.
