Billing Terms & Conditions
At CLAY & MUG, we believe the only surprise you should get is how much you love your new mug when you unwrap it, not a weird charge on your bank statement. Operating from our home in Donna, Texas, we keep our billing as straightforward as the clay we work with.
Payment Terms & Accepted Methods
To make your shopping experience easy, we provide several secure ways to pay. By completing a purchase, you agree to the following billing terms:
- Credit & Debit Cards: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and UnionPay.
- Digital Wallets: For a faster checkout, you can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Shop Pay.
- PayPal: You can pay using your PayPal balance or their guest checkout service.
- Secure Processing: All payments are processed immediately at the time of checkout through our encrypted payment gateways. We never see or store your full card numbers on our local home network.
Transparent Pricing
We hate hidden fees as much as you do.
- The Price You See is the Price You Pay: We don’t add "handling fees" or "packing surcharges" at the last second.
- Sales Tax: As a Texas-based business, we are required by law to apply sales tax to orders shipped within the state of Texas.
- Shipping Costs: These are calculated and shown clearly before you click the final "Pay" button.
Order & Billing Confirmation
Once your payment is verified, the "Apt 34 team" (usually just us at the kitchen table) starts inspecting and packing your stoneware or porcelain treasures.
- Digital Receipt: You’ll get an automated email from us right after payment. Consider this our digital handshake, confirming we’ve started working on your order.
- Bank Statement: Your charge will typically appear under the name "CLAY & MUG."
